In that market there are just so many potential posts, and loads of advertisers also looking to throw money at you. Also there is so much junk content out there that a few decent posts gets quite of few incoming links. Mine is now PR 4 after just a few months and I've barely spent anything on marketing it - the links have just come naturally. Good luck with it! But I'm more or less back, and will be posting on this daily or semi-daily. If you get out there and promote strongly, write good content, and network a lot, I think you will make it. People will not do this for you, though we help choose, but the promotion you will have to come up with or buy. Not an easy road. I think the challenge should move on a little faster, for people may be waiting around. My friend decided on a name and domain for a music blog within seconds, and I am not saying having your readers help is a bad thing, but I think that it should move on a little faster.
