Life Happens
This is really just an encouraging post more than anything.
To be perfectly honest, you cannot post every single day.
Yeah, ok, maybe Jason at The University Kid can pull it off, but he’s been using quite a few guest posters.
What my point is, is that Life Happens. Time and unforeseen occurrence befall us all. Even The Bible speaks of this.
You are always going to have that one day, or even those few days, where you 1) Cannot post or 2) Can’t even access your blog.
I had one of those days yesterday. I just had so much going on, but I did plan 1 hour to write up a post. But of course, what happened?
I got a call, and absolutely had to leave, and I had no internet or even computer access where I was.
Now, at first, this was really depressing, but I realized, “Hey, there was nothing I could have done.” I had no choice but to leave, and I had no way of posting where I was.
I know this post sounds like a quack so far, but my point is this.
As a blogger, you try and and post every day, in fact, you may even promise your bloggers a post every day, and if you miss a day, it can be very depressing. But, you can’t let this get you down! If you do, your blog will fail. Sure, it sucks when you can’t get a post out a certain day, but your readers will forgive you. (I hope so, at least
) But in all honesty, on all the blogs I’ve had, I always had those kinds of days, and as long as I apologized for it, (I think I’m doing that in this whole post
) my readers were usually very forgiving. If they aren’t then ban them they weren’t very loyal readers, and you probably would have lost them anyways.
So basically, if you can’t post for one day, don’t worry, because life happens, and you’ll always have these kinds of days.
So just keep on keepin’ on, and stay strong in your blogging, because that’s what will set you apart from other blogs. Determination. ![]()

Very true my friends
Sometimes things just happen and you can’t do anything about it, but this just makes it more challenging and increases your determination to work harder.
It does, when I can’t post for a day, it just makes me want the next post to be 10x as good.
I have those days very often! But your very right.

Yeah, it seems we have those days sometimes, but like I said working through them will help each of us succeed.
One important tip that a lot of bloggers give out is to pre-write posts or pre-write emergency posts. I didn’t realize before that WP has the option of scheduling posts at the times that you want the post to be published. After I found out that option, I did one week worth of posts within one day, but when I started typing longer posts, it became more difficult.
If it takes you 30minutes to 1hour for a post here, you should be able to do a week’s worth in one day. I stopped doing it because of school and my posts started taking 3-5 hours each. Give it a try Mark, I know this is harsh, but there is usually no excuse. That’s what a lot of employers say too

I actually do that Mike.
Also, I have mentioned it on here as well.
I have about 9 posts pre-written right now and the only reason I didn’t post one was because I had absolutely no way to even access it yesterday, so it was impossible.
But yeah, that’s a way to combat this problem.
And why MUST one write EVERYDAY? Bah! I post every 2-3 days with plenty of promotion in between and things are doing just fine.
Check out my latest post, I’m ok and so will y’all be
Dennis Edells last blog post..Promotion = Only 32 Posts, with 239 Comments, Having 50 Subscribers, and a PR 3…Never Say Die!
Well, this post is really talking about say if you do post one post every 2-3 days, and maybe you can’t for 6! It’s just to let bloggers know their not alone, and they can work through these bad days, (or weeks if it’s you
)
